Radioactive Man

Radioactive Man @ Django’s Riff, Liverpool. Saturday 22nd March.

£2 to get into see one half of the best electronic acts ever to come out of this country, Two Lone Swordsmen, what a bargain. Keith Tenniswood, aka Radioactive Man/ Two Lone Swordsmen (with Wetherall) and Control Tower, he has worked on countless projects with the likes of Primal Scream, Spiritualized and David Holmes to name a few, released two solo lp’s and ep’s and has a brand new Fabric mix cd out. Times are looking good for Keith. Tonight’s gig see’s the harder more edgy side of Liverpool’s music scene, Dubstep gets mixed up with dark hardcore beats via obscure electronica, not to everyone’s delight but certainly is to mine. Due to jetlag and a little bit too much smoke, when Radioactive Man comes on, I do not know, how long he plays for I do not know, was it good, oh yes I was dancing and that does not happen very often. The overall sound is quite hard, electronic and chaotic as you would expect, get hold of some of Keith’s music and see him out live on his continuing tour.
