It's been quite awhile since legendary NYC cum Miami DJ Danny Tenaglia has done a proper mix CD. Futurism marks the return and it is a double mix CD tome on Tommy Boy of all labels that captures Tenaglia getting bitten by the techno bug. Granted its more trendy new Berlin techno with a whole lotta Yello, Kraftwerk, and other sundry delights rather than anything that would come from Detroit or Chicago. There are a fistful of great tracks on both disks with Tenaglia adding his own signature tribal touches that add some added American boonce to the tinny minimal sounds that comprise Futurism.
