So saddle up in Austin for one hell of a ho-down with Insiders on March 18th at La Zona Rosa. And if that’s not enough to get your bbq sizzling then we suggest you jet set over to Miami during WMC, where it get’s real hot. It has been a big year for Pete Tong already with his Ministry of Sound party Wonderland continuing to go from strength to strength, and his radio show still remaining BBC Radio 1's Flagship dance show. And as if he's not busy enough, he launched "Tong Factor" with Beatport, and, along with his booking agency WMA, formed the new electronic music division "William Morris Electronic".

With WME, Pete signs, develops and represents electronic acts, as well as creating and programming electronic music events. The rational behind Insiders is to create an even platform for these artist, and to break through the norm, and challenge promoters and venues to allow them to curate something eclectic with electric. Let’s face it, good dance music, is just that at the core, no matter what the beat is. As the Figurehead of WME, Pete Tong is connecting with the promoters for the new generation of dance fans. This past CMJ Pete Tong launched a most celebrated and memorable debut for Insiders featuring Soulwax, The Whip, Late of the Pier, Rob Da Bank and a host of others. The media went crazy over Insiders:

"[This show] will be one hot ticket for electronic music during the annual CMJ Music Festival...it's something we don't usually get a chance to see here" URB.com

"Insiders will bring together the biggest and the best names in electronic music for one extended night for electro's own "mini-festival" Filter-Mag.com

"Insiders did provide a lot of fun for everyone present that evening, laying the ground work, and highlighting the future of electronic music. In a time when deejay sets are frequently delivered from behind laptops (which can still be art depending on who's doing it), Insiders brought many electro acts who do more than that to the forefront." Brooklyn Vegan

What you’ll hear in Austin is Rye Rye rhymes from the booty-shaking capital of Baltimore. Along with grammy-nominated Canadian transcender of genres Deadmau5, Berlin-based beat masters Booka shade, Bowiesque dance-rockers Late of the Pier, and two very different DJs whom we admire will be premiering their live bands Kissy Sell Out and Damian Lazarus.
