CONDUIT 03 Mix - The Mega Holiday Explosion Mix

This past year started with such promise, I was blogging again, making mixes, doing things...But life often has a way of getting in the way of things. As the Kinks once sang, "Where have all the good times gone?" Mostly, my love of music and fun got caught up in the pressures and tribulations of serious adulthood. I figure once you hit your mid-forties there is no denying adulthood any longer and so it goes. Rather than sit back and watch the year pass away with a whimper, I got my shit together, downloaded a ton of promos and made the DJ mix I've always wanted to make. Back when I started DJ'ing -  one DJ, generally the one with all of the equipment, would be the only person on the line-up. He or she had to have the wax stacks to comfortably play for six or more hours at a time. A true journey with a dizzying amount of records to set every mood. With that in mind, I composed three distinct mixes - a daytime/evening collection, a peak hour mix, and a lil something for closing time. I took all three and uploaded them together to make it a mega holiday explosion set and, in my mind, a complete artistic statement from yours truly. So sit back, take a load off, and prepare to spend the next 5 1/2 hours blissing out to the tracks laid out before you. Enjoy and happy holidays 2015!
