2007 Idolator Pop Critics Poll

Okay, so I admit I was a wee bit busy this winter season with so many "Best Of" lists you'd think I was important or something.
Well I can honestly state that I was honored to take part in the Resident Advisor end of year poll in 2007 as it is probably the best benchmark of quality in terms of underground dance music, although I think many of the contributors were hoping for more unity and cohesion in terms of track selection ignoring the ever-apparent fact that underground dance music is hopelessly splintering into perpetually shrinking regional scenes.
I was also quite honored to take place in Idolator's annual "Best Of" poll as well. There is no finer online magazine or blog covering the ins and outs of the pop music industry than Idolator. Hell, it's even better than Billboard in terms of the sheer size and scale of coverage. Plus it's smartly irreverent in ways that other magazines I have worked for couldn't even come close to touching in their wildest dreams. So it is with great pleasure that I present the 2007 Idolator Pop Critics Poll.

Also be sure to check out my individual ballot if you have a moment (although it is not that much different than my ballot for RA or 24 Hour Party People if you are crunched for time).
