Jason Walker releases new music video "What You Need" featuring Quentin Harris
Jason Walker announces his brand spanking new music video “What You Need” featuring Quentin Harris on CR2 Records, just shy of his IDMA Nomination.
Jason Walker showcases his recently released dance floor smash “What You Need” with Quentin Harris with his new music video directed by Francis Legge. To top that off, Jason Walker has just performed a slew of New York City dates this Summer, including Queens Pride, the legendary Roseland Ballroom with more dates to follow. Jason Walker has an uncanny ability to belt out anthems, and his work clearly showcases his talent. His music is poised to crossover to the mainstream, with continued work with Quentin Harris, as well as Lenny Fontana, Bad Boy Bill, Havanafunk, and DJ Strobe.
Most recently, Jason Walker was featured on Lenny Fontana’s hit “What You Need” on CR2 Records, a fusion of the classic powerhouse record from 1999 'What You Need' with CR2's big Ibiza anthem of 2008 'Sunshyne', to form a track that was instantly championed by Pete Tong on his BBC Radio 1 Essential Selection.
Jason Walker, a Pittsburgh native, can only be described as a beautifully packaged human being, with a gigantic voice bursting with the sounds of George Michael and Michael Jackson, and the soul of the divas who have influenced him, Chaka Kahn, Patti LaBelle and Aretha Franklin.
Jason Walker was also recently nominated for this years’ IDMA award for Best House/Garage Track, “Can’t Stop” with renowned DJ/producer, Quentin Harris. “Can’t Stop” released in October 2008 on Strictly Rhythm Records, featured Jason Walker on vocals, has been a dance floor favorite, being hammered out in clubs across the world, by the likes of Pete Tong, Hector Romero, Martijn ten Velden and Dave Lee aka Joey Negro to name a few.
Jason Walker is clearly one of the most exciting voices of dance music today!
